About.
Ambre Mendez is a self-taught fine art painter creating dreamlike worlds inspired by folklore, fairytales and the beauty of the natural world. Born and raised in the Loire Valley, France, she grew up surrounded by European art and culture, which continues to influence her work today. Through her paintings, she explores the space between the familiar and the otherworldly, creating atmospheric worlds filled with mystical creatures, forgotten places and a touch of melancholy.
